Where you fishing in cumbria kilty? Not done much coarse fishing, sea fishing for me

what'll be biting at Haverigg in a couple of weeks Amtek?

anyone been out yet? first trip for me tomorrow then down to cumbria for a week in 2 weeks time for some border carp i hope

brrrrrrrr 1st trip out was a shambles lol it snowed for 4 hours solid and the loch froze in front of me

down cumbria sat coming for a week praying this weather improves in some way as dont fancy 7 days n nights bivvied up in this

probably fish zig rigs midwater for the carp

Brrrr, i love the winter, and being up in the snow ice climbing is my favorite thing of all, but cold weather fishing, nahh!
I leave that for summer, catching carp off the top, on a lovely summers evening with Pedigree Chum mixer, or just margin fishing, now thats my kinda fishing!

Hope to get out in the next few weeks if the temperature rises a bit, I fly fish for wild brown trout and occasionally salmon!

The lads were planning a trip out for Rainbows this morning!! Eh no thanks don't fancy a weighted fly whizzing by my head in 50mph winds...

sacked the trip completely due to weather,fishery has ben kind enough to credit us for another week since im a long standing customer so good news plus im warm lol

If its anything like round here doug it will be nothing but tiny whiting! This time last year you would probably have seen the start of the bass but not in this weather i wouldn't think

I love to spend a week on the Ebro in Spain after some monster catfish and carp, plus it's in the sun!

Haven't fished properly in a long time, this year might see some changes that will give me the opportunity, I used to do coarse fishing, game fishing on the fly and prawn ( salmon / sea trout ) and some sea fishing, sold most of my kit off so will have to re-kit lol I hope it comes about
