Fitting Marmox board onto plasterboard?

Chipboards not ideal for this kind of subfloor, but if your going to do it anyway, then i'd prime, comb adhesive (stick to the same adhesive manufacturer, Bal, Mape, Dunlop, Ardex are all good,with and 8mm trowel, drop the boards on to this then screw boards down with screws and washers whilst still wet.
 
Sounds like a plan. I'll need to tape all the joints too yeah? Is the tape 'flexible'. Just figure you're always going to get some movement with timber over time. Thinking of the shower area really.

yes you do ned to tape the joints. Full instructions are given on the marmox website - download the BBA agreement.

Yes... marmox do 2 type of tapes.. one you apply with adhesive and the other is self adhesive.. PHG wetrooms sell them at good prices.
