Pre Formers, yes they should all have the falls built in whether it be a lineal channel or centre/offset outlet.

Some like aqua4ma have lines marked on, the foam type don't generally,and as the waste top on some can be rotated the cut lines on these can be in different planes.
if your thinking about fitting one Ash, the easiest is 50mm mosaics. They will follow the pre made falls.

im fitting an aqua4ma tray and complete floor, skirting on a bathroom fit out next week and could post some pics of the install.

yeh that would be brilliant chalker the more in depth the better. im not planning to but I wanted to know this as I feel when im more experienced following a fall will be a lot easier than creating my own until I feel fit to. cheers mate

I will take some pics then. The only trouble with the aqua4ma former is its very pricey.

Whoever fits the tray.
these are very easy to fit, but for price your better off with a foam type former like pcs, wedi etc. or a solid former like impey.
the customer specified this one.

d'u know the point loading on these trays? Can 20x20 or 10x10mm (4mm thick) glass mosaics be fitted to these trays?
Are they solid like Marmox Showerstone or foam like Wedi and Marmox Showerlay?

They are made of recycled plastics ( should be cheap then!) they are pretty rigid . I will find out what is the minimum tile size.

Cheers Neale appreciate it. The builder here hasn't been able to source suitable trays bcos of holidays. So I can throw this option at him now. Maybe they'll be more available. We've built our own for first tray. Stil got two more to go tho.

How does the Impey Aqua Dec Easy Fit former work when the centre portion of the tray can be rotated through 360 degrees? Does this tray have a fall built in or does the fall have to be made?
