They are made of recycled plastics ( should be cheap then!) they are pretty rigid . I will find out what is the minimum tile size.

d'u know the point loading on these trays? Can 20x20 or 10x10mm (4mm thick) glass mosaics be fitted to these trays?
Are they solid like Marmox Showerstone or foam like Wedi and Marmox Showerlay?

Cheers Neale appreciate it. The builder here hasn't been able to source suitable trays bcos of holidays. So I can throw this option at him now. Maybe they'll be more available. We've built our own for first tray. Stil got two more to go tho.

How does the Impey Aqua Dec Easy Fit former work when the centre portion of the tray can be rotated through 360 degrees? Does this tray have a fall built in or does the fall have to be made?
