And there is your problem, everyone wants it on their own doorstep.

They had a meet last year up north but wasn't attended all that well. Shame !

That's why I was so generous :smilewinkgrin: and said York, not Scarborough! The bigger the city the more off-putting the traffic me thinks...

I've had a better idea - why don't Dan and Dave wear Santa outfits and then do a whistle stop tour of the UK stopping at each members home town (a new town everyday) :lol:

then you can have a couple of drinks and all go home nice and quietly... apart from Dan and Dave who will be properly sloshed after just a few days :thumbsup:

As above really, it can be hard getting people to commit to the travel, and if it's drinks too then we really need to organise a hotel or something. We could perhaps attempt to do more regional meets, so we pick a bunch of area's and organise a meal or something in those areas, and for those than want to, a bar or something for later on?


So maybe:-
  1. Scotland
  2. North East
  3. North West
  4. Midlands
  5. South East
  6. South West
  7. Wales
  8. N. Ireland
Or something?
