Forum christmas dinner ????

Definately worth considering doing it in Jan. Though we'd need to do it at the quite time tiling-wise which is sort of between 20th-ish december and 5th-ish of jan, or something like that?

ill go most places in the van me, meal and social drink and a travalodge, i didnt mean centre of brum, near airport, pay up front and do a deal with venue on numbers so the sat-nav can find it easy just an idear

Why doesn't everyone set up their laptop on the dining room table with a webcam on a pre-arranged date and time, and have "online" christmas dinner and drinks. No need to travel - genius!

good idea trad seminar for tiler forum mebers ,speakers for say i hour slots, we vote the subjects, ie tanking, ufh, backer boards and so forth, then they pay meal bar at dinner time DAVE/DAN ? :lol::lol::lol:

Great idea as last year. But I just cant commit the time and money for a flight and night or two away. The regional night out is a winner with me. Any other takers from NI?, Joe, GR etc?

We did that for the TilersForums Birthday party, except without the webcams. Was a good turn out but I couldn't make it! boooooo

Eeeerm, perhaps if there was something in it for them. Though I think as they have their own Xmas bash and what not it might be out of the question finance-wise.

I think regionally we wouldn't be causing members to fork out loads and we'd network better for the future when a member needs a hand on a big job, they'd know a few locally to call.

I hear ya. We'll see what we can do N.Ireland-wise. I'm sure we have a bunch of members from there, it's just finding them somehow!
