Just go this wont do any good but hey what the hell!! Would prefer to just slap every MP give them all a reality check you know as they are there to represent us :furious3:

Official e-Petition from the British People to HM Government to lower the duty on fuel.

At 50.35p a litre, the duty paid on diesel in the UK is the highest rate in Europe, where the average level is 22.7p a litre. Did you know that around two-thirds of the price of petrol is tax? For every £50 you spend at the pumps, you only get £17 of petrol. And don't forget that VAT is charged fuel tax too - a tax on a tax. Why should an essential like fuel be taxed at several hundred %, when heating fuel is only taxed at 5%?
Below is a link to the official government petition aiming to lower fuel tax

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Lowerduty30/

Sign it, you all complain about high fuel prices, so do something about it,

To 'sign' the petition via email you need an email address and a home address, THAT'S IT !!!!!

Pass this on to EVERYONE you know, even if they don't drive yet, one day they will and they WILL complain about fuel prices

Am I reading this right Swe? Your fuel is the equivalent of 1.20 GBP per litre?

Done, Fuel prices are getting out of hand now. It makes me laugh that Gordon Brown has the cheek to make us think its the feul companies fault when the govt add more on that the companies charge in the first place.

It's time we reminded them that they work for us not that we work to line thier pockets.

It's also amusing that they go on about it being a green tax to deter people from using cars to help the environment, yet they drive everywhere in 3.2L jags.
