Hi, just posted some photos in the gallery of a recent job i did in a kitchen. Did the plastering and tiling but didn`t fit the units. Would be interested to know what everyone thinks? First time i`ve put any photos on here....

looks a nice job turkish..maybe centred the tiles in the hob so you got a bigger cut but apart from that a very nice job........well done...

Thanks Dave, yeah i know what you mean but i had to tile around the extractor unit as it had already been fitted with the rest of the units, this gave me rather a headache trying to sort out a starting point because i`d have ended up with awkward cuts around the sockets or at the end of the walls, glad you think it`s ok though, Cheers

Looks good mate apart from the centering of the tiles under the hood,i always measure between the units at side!! split it,the see how many tiles from it to unit,if small cut the try splitting tile on center mark ! this should give you decent cut.
sometimes it is possible to get full tiles across under hood if your lucky.I don't tend to worry about sockets, concentrate on hood !!

Thanks for that Hillhead, made up a guage staff to try and work out cuts but when the tiles were put up they started to move away from the marks i made, i guess cos the tiles on the sheets were slightly mishapen?? Customer was chuffed but i will certainly be taking your comments on board, cheers!
