getting rid of a bees nest?/

Blimey matches have gone up (no pun intended)

I pointed some masonry bees in their holes in my last house and they rescued each other by digging each other out of the wet mortar. Was incredible to watch.

Bees are now protected by law. Ting youg local council if in doght and they will get a local bee keeper to re-house them in their hives.

The reason is, bees are finding it increasing hard re over-building, flowers not popping, I don't kbow the whole story, but if caught killing a bee hive, you can now get prosecuted. Particually if they are bumble bees.

i called the local bee keppers,basically they aint interested unless they are honey bees,they said if you can wait 2 weeks they shoudl leave off there own acord but if you cant put the nest in the skip in a oner,alos called rentokil who charge 100 pounds to remove the nest and they advised the same

Rentokil will do the same as a local Bee keeper. I had bumble bees in my shed a few years back, and had the same problem getting a bee keeper out in a short time, but I did wait.

sorry fred think youv mis read,,the bee kepers werne tinterested,they said the bees dissapear soon so if i could wait they would go of there own accord but they wernt coming out as they only move honey bees and these were some sort of bumble bee,anyways its sorted nowresents1:
