glue gun

wish i had bought this a long time ago,i have asked before which one was best for sticking ufh down with and ended up buying a cheap 14 pound gun from b and spew,sticks were a fiver for 4 i think also and only used 2 to lay a small mat

what a difference rather than faffing about with tapes etc,used it on a loose wire system and made it so easy and flat to work with

big recommendation from me for the cheapo loctite glue gun

I got one from wickes for my last UFH job, cost about 20 quid with 24 extra sticks. Great thing to have in the tool box.

i tend to use both tape and glue gun,i find tape quicker,as with a glue gun you have to make sure you hold the wire in place for those 5-7sec's for it to go off enough to hold.so i tend to tape some points of wire (bends),to get the wire in position fast,then use glue gun ( to hold wire down on the rest of bends,and run) .i have found this much quicker for me than just using tape,or just using glue gun.
