Used to play a fair bit, but don't get the time now, I enjoyed various corporate days out, one with Altro flooring at a really old course near Hatfield, where I hit my most embarrassing first hole drive ever, I swung as hard as I could and sliced it into a fir tree 20ft in front of me, and the ball landed about 10ft back in front of me :mad2: double :incazzato:

LMAO Ken.
I remember a round with my Dad. It was the 12th tee (par 4) and I slapped a safe 3 wood to the middle of the fairway, not too far but good to hit the green in 2. Dad steps up and plants his ball on the tee. A nice backswing, then raised his head a little , he topped the ball and sent it whizzing along the ground towards the ladies tee. The ball hit the ladies tee right hand marker block and we just hit the deck as the ball came back at us at around 100mph. We never did find the ball but I reckon he hit that one "minus 100 yards".

I just played my worst ever round of golf last saturday. from a handicap of 20, I ended up with 9 yes NINE POINTS. It was really embarrasing and to cap it all, on the last teebox I hit my drive into a nearby house and hit both the occupants, who had been sunbathing in their garden at the time. The husband stormed on to the course and tore strips from me because i did not shout fore. I was in shock for the rest of the day and am thinking of retiring from golf after this experience.
