I've been reading this forum for a while now as I'm about to embark on my biggest tiling project - retiling my kitchen floor. This site has been a great help in preparing me for what I thought I was going to be doing, which is putting down a suitable subfloor over floorboards. However now the previous floor is up, I can see that I've got a solid floor and not floorboards after all and I need some specific help with what to do next, so I've signed up.
