You are no doubt correct as I do not hold one - and was only trying to advise the dangers of taking rubbish away from a job and highlighting the possible outcome pertaining to that 'crime'.


I know someone who got caught recently, he is awating further news. I doubt he will get the full penalty though.
 
The answer is to bag up the rubbish for the customer to take away or as we do - provide a skip on every job ( they start at only £60-00),
 
Good post Jamie B, domestic work is so different than site work. Working clean, liasing with customer etc. one thing I always do, is never leave anything they can find fault with. I like to leave each job thinking, I would be happy with that in my home. Works for me:thumbsup:
 
One thing I will add is to cheque the sanitary / work tops for scratches / chips before you start tiling as some unscrupulous customers will try it on. If you see one highlight it with the customer to avoid any problems at the end of the job.
