Good price for tiles.... ??

Yeah we thought about black but had glossy black splash backs before and felt it made the kitchen look quite dark. With the plasterboard showing it does lighten the whole thing up. We're going for a rustic but easy to maintain look I think... 🙂 I did put the drawer front on upside down in this pic. I've yet to turn it over so the handles line up.... Might be one of those finishing off jobs that never gets done....

You will need to be careful if the tile colour matches the unit - you'll find that the units and wall just merge into one and if they do, it could have a tendency to look bland

Fired earth used to do a nice flat black metallic metro. Flat not beveled edge. Looks classy.......but a tad dear.

Or at at least let her chose.....then if she doesn't like it, she can't blame you.

Hahaha.... And of course it would stain easily from my pipe smoke.... Anyway... We are out of cardigan season and into full blown Arran polo neck sweater season now 🙂

I used the Homebase cream metro's for a customer a few weeks back and found them to be ok.
