your right ken your not wrongThing is guys, this country has been bankrupt since WW2, the whole country is operating in Bankruptcy, money is worth nothing, cos there is no gold or precious metals to back it up (try and go into a bank and ask for £10 of gold for your crisp tenner as promised on the bank note, they'll kick you out and lock the doors :lol, and that's why there are so many laws to enslave us to get our hard earned cash, so that the few rich can get richer and keep us "normal" people (I keep hear us getting called this) quiet and busy trying to survive. Makes you wonder how it all keeps going eh?
Just my thoughts I felt necessary to share with you.
maggie didnt join the eu mark, it was heathThats why Maggie joined Europe, we were skint
maggie didnt join the eu mark, it was heath
maggie had to go and try and rescue the crap deal he got for us, she did very well in getting us consessions and managed to recover the bulk of the money we paid in up to that point
problem is those consessions were only temporary and we are back to paying in more than we recieve
we were better off before we joined the eu and traded across the world, particularily with new zealand and australia
Nearly there.
Perhaps another women in charge may sort out the house keeping
Even the uni grants have been messy twice leaving students without cash for books!
there's no such thing as a grant anymore Dan. they're all loans. if you don't have the financial support (rich parents) to pay for your university education, you have to borrow money from the student loans company to pay. and then you have to pay it back when you start earning more than 15k a year. seems a bit of a con to me. and this all started in 1997, the year Labour got into power and the year before I started university :mad2:
it's all supposed to be means tested, so the rich have to pay for it all, but the means testing was biased when I started uni. my dad was on 30k a year at that point (teaching for 30 odd years had helped) and so I was way out of the threshold for any form of fees support. I could have a loan for however much I wanted, but none of it would be supported by the Local Education Authority.
my dad's 30k a year had to support a family of 4 plus a 1 year old baby.
there is no simple solution to any of the problems that we have in this country, but I do know the politicians are making a right hash of finding any solutions. it's time the people took control
