Grand Designs

Lol yes definitely some exaggeration on the quants then, maybe he went in low on the price and quickly realised he wasn't getting enough since it's a £1.3m build

Watched this yesterday on the repeat show. Kitchen was never worth 120 grand. These people don't half get ripped off. Brushed aluminium and wood Pmsl cheapest materials known to man. Oven with digital door release. Alrightythen there's what, 20 quid. My kids pretend laptop has one the whole laptop was a fiver.

The kitchen was littered with Gaggenau appliances........job I just done had a fridge, freezer and a wine cooler.....£20,000 plus!!!!
These people just spend for fun. The other house I'm on the spent 45 grand on a sub-zero fridge and a Wolf stove......my house was only 50 grand when I bought it.

Those Sub Zero's are something else!

If you got the money you spend it. No matter how much you got. You always buy the best you can afford or not in many cases.

Yeah. I can spend anything, but I get quality. He didn't have much quality worth the money he got ripped off left right and centre. He had a warehouse structure. Cheapest going. That kitchen wasn't worth that money. Commercial kitchens in Michelin star kitchens would be that much and you'd get a hell of a lot more cash.

What the hell was a whole bag of adhesive being used per tile? 16 quid a bag too. I'd have gone to the manufacturers. Surely that tiler was laughing all the way to the bank.

Wasn't worth 1.3 no way on earth.
