Just got an appointment to quote a 14 sqm kitchen floor in ganite,the lady has got her tiles and has already had a quote, have never done granite before, what am i looking to charge per sqm labour only? she has the materials already. Some quick replies would be great guys i'm quoting her at 6.30

Last year I would have said 40.00 per metre, times have changed, can you do it in 2 days and charge £150 per day, your still earning good money, its difficult because rates change region to region. Hope you get it.

i would go in at £35 2m

Absoloute joke been down to price and charged 28sqm (very reasonable) they reckon a guy has priced them 20sqm how the F*&% do you compete with that!:mad2:

tilers in the uk get very good money i think thats why there are so many even if they are slow they do quite well imo do they get it in other parts of the world ?
