let them go with the £20 sqrm but know ur self that you would have done a better job.
they may be saying that to drive you down. i recently quoted a charterd surveyor for a big polished porceline job, he told me he had already been quoted £15 a meter including materials, i walked away saying it would be nothing less than £35 a meter, i got a phone call asking about how it should have been done, said thats what you pay £35 sqrm for.
