Hi, I bought mine from the web site, it took just over a week to get here and I didn't have to pay the New Zealand gst which is 12.5% of the price quoted so it was only 30 quid and I did it on my credit card. I think you should jusrt buy it from the web site like I did, I don't think there are any stockists in the country.

The website has no stockests listed for UK! looks like you have to buy from the web. might have to ask your local trade shop to get some in if you don't want to buy from website.

Hi Rob, yeah free all the way from New Zealand - thats about 12,000 miles. A good service, I'd recommend them.

If you do it properly, you will have to pay VAT when it comes in to the UK and possibly import duty (approx 4%)

I never paid VAT on mine. only if they pull it up in customs and that is luck of the draw. I order things from over seas all the time and have only paid vat on a couple of things.

Order it, and tell them to take it out of the packaging, sprinkle saw dust on it and a bit of wall adhesive then repack it in a shoe box with a note saying " I think you left this behind" SORTED

Hi, I've just bought one - AWESOME ! really easy to use and it does a great job. I'll never go back to using snips or my old mitre saw again - BRILLIANT.

How quickly to the inserts wear out?

I suppose if your only really doing the 45 degree cuts you could just swap the unused inserts about when they wear out.

I have used mine most days, and inserts are all good! Only had it for couple of weeks though so can't say how long they will last exactly. I would say I have done well over 50 cuts (incl all my plying about with it). I have only really used the 45 and 90 angles, so could change them about and use the 22.5 ones if need be.

I think they only pull up 1 in 10 packages for vat anyway, not sure how that works.
