Noooooo!!!

Was down at the parents this weekend and found out my dad is doing up the bathroom (no mention of it at any point!) and as part of it he has tiled the window reveal and wall recess with 5x5 white ceramics over the base and then 2 up.

As soon as I looked at it my heart sank... Cuts etc were all good he's tiled many a times but is a builder by trade so decided to use a combined addy and grout... It looked like Steevie Wonder had done it, the "grout" was shiny, coarse and was... Well... Lumpy and uneven. And to top it all off all his corners were grouted in too!!!

Jeezo!

His excuse was "well you weren't here".

Tried to get a photo but it just wasn't showing well on the camera, too much white.

I offered to regrout but no idea how long the addy will last especially once it gets wet.

What horrible horrible stuff! Not even fit for DIY use.
