grout charts

asked in topps tiles for BAL grout chart as I like work with that stuff.has not arrrived yet.nothing weird but I asked 4 MONTHS ago!:incazzato: where else can I ask for it? helpline, manufacturer... thanx

yup call BAL direct. I have called Mapei , Weber and Ardex in the past and received such items.

ask topps for the local bal reps number and im sure he will be more helpfull.

I called mapei and they sent me a set of grout samples in a nice box, with in a week. Good old mapei

I tried Mapei but BAL is better to work with.

yeah I used black wall gout from WEBER.best one in black grouts. is WEBER also mould resistant?

yes mould resistant,you can use it for most situations

i have only used the charocaol on a few jobs ,really like it

Got a very nice Ardex one...Customer had a look and picked one on friday, rang my supplier saturday morning and asked if they had it in stock...Yes got ten bags. What time do you close as need it on Monday? 4pm he said, so i arrived at 3pm to colllect it and they had shut down :incazzato: So i rang them and a guy said yes that depot has closed and the number is being re-directed to Harlow are main office, can get it to you on Tuesday. No thanks i said and went to Tile Giant.

The Ardex FS (up to 4mm) grouts are lovely to work with, their FL (3-15mm) range is like Ultracolour Plus and goes off quick.
Their sample display set is great, customers love it.

I have used Bal grout one time and it was the last time, the aggregate is too thick that i could not make it really smooth. In british market mapei and ardex are the best of course class CG2, in my opinion.

I rang bal a couple of weeks ago for one of these, they were out of stock and said call back in about a month. Give it a couple of weeks and ring them directly
