Grouting technique

i did the kitchen today, looks good only some places the grout was comming out of the line when washing it had to fix it... what is the cause of it ? maybe i didnt push it in enough with the float to begin with ?

waited 20 minutes before washing it, ill post pictures tomorow when its gonna be dry

Either joints not filled properly or grout was too wet....

spot on Dave,probably too wet a grout mix.

yes bri....too wet a grout mix can retain air...these air bubbles pop as you wash off and leave holes....thats why you also never mix grout at too high a speed if using a paddle mixer..and can happen when your mix is to sloppy..
