any one got any tricks up there sleeves for grouting neatly upto bricks. I have always just been very careful when applying grout and wiping, got one coming up with dark v porous bricks and very light grout.
I have had to grout up to bricks in quite a few old houses, mainly floor tiling around fire hearths and kitchen wall tiling. I always put masking tape on the bricks then grout. Wait for the grout to harden up then remove the tape. You get dust from the bricks so you must wait for the grout to harden up.
Grout or icing bag as whitebeam suggested, got that tip off Dave when I ask same question about black grout up against a stone fireplace...just pipe it in then leave a while to start to harden, while still pliable use a small scraper to smooth off
