Gyvlon LL screed pour.

I had an invitation to watch a Lafarge Gyvlon LL screed being poured today..

Alan..a.k.a. Ajax123 invited me to come and watch the process..

Very interesting to see the pour and the process of checking the pour was the right consistency..

Nice to meet up again Al and once again thanks for inviting me to see how the screeds are laid etc..


Alan also showed me the difference between a laitence screed and the newer Low laitence screed.. helping to identify whether the friable laitence is there.

No probs Dave. was good to see you again. now just need to sort out the guy with the dodgy quartz resin tiles. Have also had some input from Ultra - the addy suppliers as well which is quite interesting.

It does have adjustable tripods that are set by a laser..

Yes I have. It says nothing about UFH and Resin Quartz not being compatible. Ultra pointed me to the same site and that they have had several other complaints of the same nature all of which originate with one supplier - I am awaiting the info on which supplier but I think it is the one we were discussing.

That sounds about right.. what i will say now is Alan, they will not get any joy from them..:mad2:

we had a customer on here the other week, and they got no joy..

But it is worth a try and i just looked and they actually recommend using the qaurtz with UFH...
