Hardibacker on T&G floorboards

Hi could you advise me on using hardibacker board,i would like to tile my bathroom floor which has T&G floorboards.Can i fix the hardiboard to the T&G boards following the correct instructions,looking at their website they say it should be fitted to ply no mention of T&G boards ,thanks inadvance

providing the floor is deflection free you can fix the hardi to the floor by the "glue and screw " method :smilewinkgrin:
