Harmony Tiles (Sold at Topps)

Guys, doing some "Market Research"

Anybody fixed the new range of mosaic effect tiles at Topps yet called Harmony?

If so, what grout have you used?

Was told by the Agent that these tiles, and several more in the range that we were sue to buy like the Eternity Range AMB_ETERNITY-BLACK_01.jpg needed to be fixed with an flexible grout, after testing various samples of the Eternity range, we have come to the conclusion that these tiles are NOT to be used in a shower area.....

You might have seen similar versions of these tiles, be interested in your thoughts.

These tiles are horrendous ? Topps reckon you have to grout them everywhere so that they are flush, it looks terrible imo, who would want a wall full of grout ?

The flower ones they have in too are disgusting.

Agreed.........especially about the flower ones!

Weve tried a few grouts on them so far.......normal wall grouts a big NO NO.......Grout 3000 from TM was good. I can see them selling but need to make sure they are not sold in a wet area.

To be honest i quite like them both but only really as a feature.

Porcelanosa do an actual mosaic with different size circles and they have the colours of oil sat on water in them. They are individual glass pieces on a mesh rather than a solid tile though.

I've looked at them a few times in Porcelanosa John & they are really nice for a feature wall.
I don't think you would ever be happy with the grouting though as they take up a lot of grout.
I would be for ever picking bits out that weren't perfect.

Porcelanosa do a solid version of the circles one, made of ceramic as opposed to glass. I've fitted those and, quite worryingly, in a shower. It was tanked so maybe that's a saving grace, still got me a little bit concerned now.

Am I allowed to say I quite like the look of those two examples in the pictures?
Not seen the flower ones mind.

Can't say I've ever seen them in real life so can't really chip in on that.

But I can imagine Mrs Jones will like them, especially the type where her fella is bank rolling her bathroom project or whatever. I bet you a quid that they sell a fair few of them.

The 2 in the pictures actually look ok in the flesh, the flowers ones are horrid, way too much grout and did I mention they look horrid

I would imagine Colour Republic / Rob's customers going for that sort of jazz too. lol

Very pricey as well, I thought about a feature wall in my own bathroom and it came in at nearly 2k just for the mosaics :yikes:

2k just for the mosaics??? These tiles should be selling for around £28 per m2........how many m2 do yo need John?

I'm talking about the glass mosaics Lee, they were about £24 per sheet

The ceramic tiles you mean with the circles were about £23m to me from Porcelanosa, bathrooms done now though Lee, but thanks anyway
