Colour Republic

Somebody stole my business name a few years back but it's a company that never got that far off the ground due to the other people invloved. It was a Drum and Bass record label I was setting up, the name... Bass Republic :). I let the domain lapse and when i realised this a few weeks later somebody had registered it, when we started a lot of people commented on the name and really liked it and we did a few radio shows under than name so it came as no supprise the people that took it set up... you guessed it, a Drum and Bass label :mad2: In fact since I started posting the name on the internet I have noticed 7 or 8 people using the name where as before nobody had (I know because I looked).

Just done a quick google and it seems the label have disappeared but still own the domain, hmmm I might be able to steal it back:ninja::lol:

Years ago my cousin ran a small busy taxi business. Her husband worked full time and got moved with his job so she had to sell up. Tried to sell it as a going concern but nobody was interested so she got rid of the cars and left it at that, within a couple of weeks another nearby taxi firm had applied and got her old number put into their premises so they got quite a lot of free business calls from my cousins old customers.

Only my ebay account..and that was a real hassle. I suddenly looked as if I was selling a car in Australia, there was my email address for more info and everything, but clevery pointed to another address, took ages getting my account back and lost all my 100% positive customer feedback..blooming nuisance. :ban:

Also was going to open a shop with somebody years ago called bathtime but in the meantime he pinched the name and opened a shop on his own and went bankrupt he he
