Hello everyone, just introducing myself, im new to this intresting and informative forum, im currently a taxi driver in the north east, looking to get my life back [ nightshift worker], maybe looking at a career change, either part or full time, booked in at the nett on the 28th.

When company go's bust or move out of the area, suddenly there's a mass of new driver's, Is that what you found Joe.

There is alot more taxis where i live compared to a few years ago, one firm went to the czech republic and advertised for drivers, left a street map with the new recruits, told them to come over in a month, they arived and knew the town instantly:driving:

But surly they have to be licenced with the council, Go thru the checks (no pun intended).

Did the NETT course last week and as already said it's well worth it.
Be prepared for lots of information coming your way as it is a week crammed to the full but rather that than dragged out over many weeks at your expense.
