This might just be my new favourite forum. I've learned loads of stuff already.

I'll tell you a bit about myself. I'm a Mum, Carer, Girlfriend, singer and swing music club promoter.

I sing in a 1940s vocal harmony (covers) trio and a Bluesy/rock originals band too. I run a monthly vintage swing event in Preston, which takes up loads of my spare time and have just started to learn Lindy Hop dancing, along with my lovely fella. He'd love this forum too, I should get him to register.

My son, who's 7, has severe learning disabilities and epilepsy and is adorable. I don't dwell on what he can't do as life's just too short for that. He's loveable, sweet natured and stops me wanting any more kids as he's my big baby, lol.

My pet hates are people not indicating at roundabouts and not saying please and thank you.
