Hello, i'm a DIY'er from Lincolnshire. Bought a house in April 2009 and still working on it!

We have had the house rewired and i now need a few extra wall tiles to match the existing ones. I was going to post on to the For Sale / Wanted section but it seems i can't start a new thread until i have 10 posting's. Is this the case or have i just messed things up? Any advice where/how to post my query would be appreciated.

thanks, Guy

Hello StanleyES, welcome aboard www.tilersforums.com. Stick around, I'm sure you'll like the place. 🙂

Hello and welcome.....

The 10 post count is too stop spammers selling in the forsale section and it is really for regualr members to use and not just newcomers selling tools etc..

So your thread here is fine...

Are you seeking to get a tiler to do the work or info on doing it yourself ?...oh and :welcome:

Thanks everyone.

I will be laying the tiles myself. I am a Newbie but i have recently tiled the kitchen floor with porcelin which i (and more importantly the girlfriend) are happy with.

I need approx 3 or 4 Pilkingtons Broadstone tiles (i'd buy a box if necessary). I have emailed pilkingtons with photo's and markings and they said this was the name of the tile but it went out of production 8 years ago.

I have uploaded a few pics, it's the plainer tile i'm looking for, not the fruit motif ones. Size is 6" square and 4mm thick.

So, can anyone help me with locating a source? I found this forum due to a posting from ColinH about a year ago looking for the same tile. If nobody can help i may drop him a PM.

Thanks
