Hello to all & help wanted on trowel size

Thanks guys - whoops should have explained better - I am not plastering the no more ply - I have built a couple of false walls around the shower to lose the plumbing and recess the valve. The rest of the room is plaster (external walls) and internal walls (plasterboard). I intend to tile directly onto no more ply.

just to add, on floors I use a half round notch trowel (solid bed trowel) also in the wet areas too
