Thank you all for your welcoming comments. Hopefully the ones on the course that aren't technophobic will sign up.! I've already had my first taste of discrimination down here...was in a builders yard and another customers look when I mentioned I was doing a tiling course (didn't get a chance to say it was an NVQ - so maybe he thought it was one of those 5 day intensive courses that I've seen advertised) I do want the guy to eat his words a bit as my first effort at cutting the tiles around circular objects is damm sight better than the guy that did my entire bathroom!! Fortunately I'm used to the male ego as I used to play sport to a very high level, and the number of guys that would think that they could just beat me when they had only played badminton in the local leisure centre...hmmm wry smile!
