excellent
was going to do a travertine job, but too cold to keep going up and down for wet cuts - haven't got my bricolinna yet (£120 delivered from contractors direct europe - evere used them?) just a soaking producing cheap (but good) plasplugs.
Will do a smallish sized ceramic job now with border. We are moving next year, so as long as it looks good.

Okay more help please - any one know where to actually lay their hands on Ardex AM100 or its Bal eqiv?

I have tried Topps - don't sell it but can get it in 2 weeks (maybe). Tile centre and CTD (new in Kings Norton - don't do weber, ardex or stock the bal render)plus the price of their Rubi was stupid and that was with 20% off - using Niel at buybrands. got a good deal on a few essentials.
So anyone help - need for saturday night

Cheers

Ardex am100 is good gear ..read this it tells you all about it....can go on thicker than rapid-set can.. broken link removed.

But i would use plaster board if you can it's quicker and if it's not too deep then just use rapid set as gazza has mentioned.......

I need to build up over a sheet of aquapanel in my shower part of bath From about 2mm to 20 mm. Not too bothered whether Bal or Ardex - but who has it in stock in Birmingham?

Plasterer coming Sunday - or should I just go with plaster and waterproof or tank it?
