Help! Cant access my cistern.

Hello,

I managed to snap my flush this morning. Fixing it should be easy, if i can get to my cistern.



The wood is L-shaped meaning I cant pull it out the way. The window-ledge prevents me from lifting it up.

Any ideas?

could you send over any more pictures as this one is not very clear.

It looks like to me you will have to dismantle the hole cistern top. sorry i can't be much use.

Looks to me like you just need to lift that window board/boxing in lid to access the cistern?., As said , a better picture would help.

I'd get the plumber back who tiled it in the first place!

bit unclear but looks like a neat saw-cut may release it then silicon top down afterwards

Not the cleverest idea, boxing the lot in. Possibly cut an access panel on the top.......and make a new panel to cover said hole. So at least you can get to it in the future.
