I am a graphic designer yes, or until I go full time on the tiling anyway. A lot of "professional" designers will offer to produce you a nice logo and not take any of the things I mentioned into account. This will leave you out of pocket and looking unprofessional.
Vince if your designer can't help you out let me know and I'll be happy to help. You can check out my website (details should be in my profile) if you like to see some of my work. This is a bit older now as since the tiling I have lost touch on my updates but it will show I know what I'm talking about.

I'ts the first logo for me,wow Vince from your picture your'e a double for Roy Keene.You could call yourself Keene tiling,or if only part time,fairly keene!
