help with trim size please

alright kidders. quick one tonight
doing a splashback at the w/end customer supplying everything.... told them to take the b and q value tile and grout back..... and i will supply a decent adhesive (weber. fix wr) for £20 as i got a freebie from the weber rep when i first started up..... they have supplied a ceramic effect trim for around the window etc... the problem is it is 10mm. the only other option they have is a 6mm one.. the tiles are 5.5mm deep,,,,, help what should i use?????? can gaz from topps help??? these were the only size available in topps... cheers ian:mad2:

6mm will be tight once you bed the tiles........7or 8 mm will be better.....

I get mine at ctd..6/8/9/10 and 12mm trims...homelux and genesis...

Im doing a site where everything is supplied. Tiles are 9mm ish and trim is 12mm. Its way too big and looks crap in my opinion. I mentioned it to the site foreman and the tile suppliers. Both said to wack it on ....so i have. Not nice, 10mm whould have been the ticket though.

Good trimming can really finish of a job. So on a private job make sure its right.

Mines ok..but you will get trims at any tile store......shop about if you have too..

cheers dave for your help... topps and ctd none in stock. may have to venture to b and q....... work for them..... but they are so expensive and poor quality

ctd will get any trims in the next day if you order them......depends if there out of stock at newcastle ( head depot) or not....but they do usually carry all sizes in stock...

I know, I once saw the price, plain white trim 6mm and Im sure it was like £7.99 per strip, instead of the .99p I normally pay for it.
