Hello I am new here!! but after some advice...My shower was tiled and grouted using a sandstone grout. The tiler only noticed that it should not of been used in a shower after he had grouted it all!!!

So do I now have to regrout?( Or can i seal it? ) If so I need one that is a sandstone...Is it really hard to remove the old grout?

What a nightmare!!!

what is the easiest way to remove all the grout? what tools ?

There are grout rake/removers that are manual. They take quite abit of work, but being as the grout is falling out, it shouldn't take too much work

Alternatively, something like a dremel could be used, but you would have to be careful not to catch the edges of the tile.

Yes I know!

But now I had the hassle of trying to sort it out...Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm sorry about this but if it is coming away there is no other choice but to rake it out and replace it with a suitable gout eg. mapie ultacolur or a similar product , there is a hand held tool on the market called a grout rake this should assist you in removing it and it will also save you a lot of time.

thanks
