Hey guys. I'm taking on some DIY and fitting subway tiles in my kitchen. I've got the adhesive (Setaflex?) just need to choose between Micromax2 (gunmetal) and Grout3000 (white). The tiles are the common white subways (flat ones). Which do you advise for a beginner? Hope you can be of help. JJ

Gun metal will look nice , its quite common to use a grey grout with white metros.

both are a nightmare and set very fast on ceramics I would go with bal standard set white or grey

I agree with Andy, if you are going white use Bal Microflex, it’s a “whiter” grout than MM2 which is slightly off white, and is slower setting.
But I would go with a light silvery grey like Gunmetal if it were mine, just do smaller batches/areas at a time.
