Hi Ben,

Welcome to the forum. We have some offers of free accommodation on our longer courses at the moment for forum members.

All the best and good luck

:welcome:Osborne - Tiling is the greatest job in the world!
You can get to the stage where no 2/3 days are the same - new locations - different tiles - new clients - variety is the spice of life!
But it takes a while to build up a customer base where you will feel confident to be able to book holidays in advance - no one is going to pay you when you don't work.
There will be times when you may wonder how you are going to fit all the work in - and times when you'll wonder where the next job is coming from.
Age is not important - it is the desire, commitment, passion -IMO this is what is translated to your customer to get the original job and then its up to you to provide the standard of work which will provide your future income.
The descision is easy - do what you will be happy with for a long time - but remember if you have family - there is no job security till you have an established business - and even then you can be in the hands of outside factors!
I love it - but then again I wouldn't be on here if it was just a job!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and advice.
i sure have the drive and desire to make a success to make this work im itching to get learning. Just looking into courses now and trying to find some friends and family that will let me loose on there tiling. So i can get some experiance and practice in.

Cheers
