hi. have just joined the site. am going on the weekend NETT course at the end of november/beginning of december. really looking forward to it. wanting to tile my kitchen and bathroom afterwards and then go on from there. not giving up day job - do agency nursing and teaching anyway - so can do what i like!!! catch you all later

thanks for all yr messages guys. dont suppose there are many of us women wanting to go into tiling! have tiled before but want to learn how to do it properly. have also done a plumbing course at college but that was like watching paint dry!! too many students, only one tutor and not enough time!!!

Hope it all goes well and i sympathise with you bout the plumbing course as im currently on one in newcastle and having the exact same problem regarding too many student so little time!!! Its quite annoying!!!

thanks faithhealer --- but have to say i know absolutely nothing about tiling. had to tile the kitchen about 6 years ago only because my then husband coundnt do it with two good hands!!! i tiled it with my arm in a full plaster cast and did a good enough job to make me think about doing the course. sick of the tiles i put up originally - now want to change them but want to know how to do it properly. especially has have a pig of a bathroom to do next
