Ciao Rafi,

Welcome to the forum - good to see other Italians here. :hurray:
I really like the light brick structure covered with tiles as you mentioned. Especially in an older house.

Ciao ciao,
Stina

PS - your English isn't bad at all.

Blimey the italians have arrived, I'm half Italian well... Sicilian in fact, the old mans from Palermo :welcome:

hi everybody. Thank you to all of you who answered me. Sorry if I didnt write you before, but i'm working very hard in this period: may is the worst month of the year because in june all tourists arrive and everything has to be ready... puff! Well I live in Tuscany in the middle of Italy, in a little town on the seaside in front of Elba island, an island with the shape of a fish.... and here during the summer the world arrives! from all Europe... english, german french swiss etc... Have you ever been to Italy???
I see with pleasure that there are many italians/half-italians/old-italians everywhere in the world !!!???!!!
Hope to find the right way to move to oz and see how many are also there!!!!
bye guys, I will read here and there to find some advices, but I see that the only way for me is to attend a silver trowel course, 'cause my skills will never be recognised.... to tell the truth I can have a sponsor in Melbourne, but I 'm not convinced to take the 457 visa... I don't want to find myself tied in a situation that I don't like, I'm wrong?

Thank you everybody

Hi Raphael,

My wife and I are just back from Bergamo we were out to watch the Bergamo and Milan stages of the Giro it was fantastic, we are out quite a lot as we have a very small house in Cairano near Avellino which we love.
Could you tell me where I could get an acid cleaner for our old cotto floor (plasterer's have left it in an awful mess ) and an alkali one for the terrazo floor downstairs ( same mess ), I have no idea of the manufacturers names in Italy.

Good luck with your move to OZ

Ciao Ciao
