Money - its obviously an important part of any job - but IMHO this is not a job its a trade.
So in that respect you have to learn your trade before you can earn a professional level of renumeration for your efforts.
Everyone can tile and everyone thinks they can do a few jobs and that makes them a tiler.
However the sooner customers realise that there is a BS
standard to our trade then tiling will become the professional finishing trade that I entered 38 years ago.
Modern equipment, manuals and courses, give you the basics to 'wet' the appetite for a DIY market, but to undertake this trade for a career takes more time than people realise.
On the positive side - it is the best trade around - so if you can support yourself for the first 2/3 years - you could become another member of the Tilers Forum happy tiling
community.
