Hi everyone, im new to this forum.
Im a painter & decorator 12 yrs in the trade, i have been ask so many times by my customers if i tile, which i dont,
Can any of you professonal tiliers out there recomend me a good course i could do, I want to add tiling to my decorating, but i want to be able to do a good job ( tiling walls & floors ) I thought a 10 day course, but what do all you tilers think.
I live & work in Essex, but i will go anywhere in the country for a good course

Hi Paul welcome,
i had no tiling experience prior to doing nett one week course in january and felt confident enough to tile my own bathroom and i believe i have done a job just as good as any tiler could but only because i got background info from the lads and lasses from this site and the fact that i took my time, The one week course does show you how to tile but the most important information you need is the background stuff like priming, high spots and weight ratio's etc cos if you dont get this right and tiles come off then its a waste of time. And the only way you get this info is over time from research and the professional tilers on here.
