My name is Amanda I live in the highlands of scotland. I have been tiling for 7 years and been self employed for 5. I was taught to tile by a guy I worked for in Lincolnshire. We fitted bathrooms for Fired Earth through a company called Liquid Design based in Northamptonshire. I live on a farm which I am a partner of and I also have a hairdressers shop and I do hairdressing on a thursday. My tiling name is Dunrobin Design as Dunrobin is the name of the farm. I am 30 and 6 foot tall. I love all my work. I get jobs through word of mouth as it is a very small closeknit community and have never advertised yet as I work on the farm during quiet spells. I use a rubi cutter and a dewalt 4" grinder mostly but have a wetwheel for mitering. I do all this out of the boot of a BMW 3series coupe which is surprisingly big. Thats all I can think of to tell.
Look forward to having other tilers opinions, thoughts and advice.
