Hi to ALL

Just registered on the TilersForum and as yet have to start a tiling Job other than my own FLOODED home.
I reckon I will need lots of advice in the future, but for now, other that the Rubi TS-50 Tile Cutter which would anyone recommend for me to start with which isn't so expensive and the same goes for a powered cutter?
Thanks in advance for your help, as I'm sure this must be a common question for beginners.

Here's a couple that may be worth looking at, the big clinker has had a few mentions on here..as for powered cutters the Rexon in screwfix is good for the money..use one myself...mark.

welcome mate in reguards to your cutter i'd personally get a rubi ts 30 , if your only just starting out , i got a rubi ts 40 plus off ebay when i first started £145.00 but a 30 should do you fine for now,

Hi Dave and welcome m8,go to b&q and get yourself the small plasplugs compact wet cutter for 30 quid.Give Darren a call at NETT 0191 427 4529 AND HE WILL SORT YOU OUT WITH A genesis cutter for 80 quid,a lot of the guys on here have this cutter.:wink_smile:

I'd consider investing in a Rubi if you can mate. Rubi Tile Cutters, Scaffolding Tools, Tape Measures & Measuring Tools UK can help with choosing which one is best for you.

Check the Poll / Voting forum to see some opinions on what cutters the guys on here use and have a wonder around the tiling tools forum to see discussions on cutters generally.

If you can do 'a job for a mate' for some practise experience type affair, get him to buy you the cutter and you do the job at a cheaper rate, maybe even for nowt?
