Hi can anyone help?? I have to re tile a bathroom where some of the tiles have fallen into the bath due to a leak between the bath and the tiles. I will have to remove all the other tiles. There is the existing adhesive on the wall. Clearly the original adhesive did not cover completely the back of the old tiles as the old adhesive is like a "snake" of old, hard adhesive attached to the wall. Can i just fit the new tiles over this old adhesive, or have i got to remove it??? If I have to remove it and it damages the wall, will this need to be replastered before i retile it???
Thanks
