If you are going to remove the 18mm chip floor and replace it with WBP ply, what thickness of ply do you need to use if you are going to tile the floor ???

Thanks everyone. The existing chipboard got wet, which is why it is being replaced. Do i need to "prime" the wood first before laying the floor tiles, and what is the best adhesive and grout to use please????

Prime with Mapei G back and sides only. Then either mapei Keraflex Maxi or Keraquick with latex plus added. Grout Mapei ultra colour Plus, colour to suit.

Hi can anyone help?? I have to re tile a bathroom where some of the tiles have fallen into the bath due to a leak between the bath and the tiles. I will have to remove all the other tiles. There is the existing adhesive on the wall. Clearly the original adhesive did not cover completely the back of the old tiles as the old adhesive is like a "snake" of old, hard adhesive attached to the wall. Can i just fit the new tiles over this old adhesive, or have i got to remove it??? If I have to remove it and it damages the wall, will this need to be replastered before i retile it???
Thanks
