Been member for a while. Am just DIY tiler (probably the worst sort) :0)

I like to think that I do a good job though. Have just ripped ALL of my bathroom out and am putting a wetroom shower in.
Started by taking up floorboards and after doing plumbing and insulating the floor void, laid 18mm plywood onto Silicon and screwed down every 300mm as recommended. Also siliconed between the joints...
I am amazed at how squeak free and solid my new floor is. Really looking forward to now getting the underfloor heating in and start tiling.
Just gonna now scour the forum to sort out what your members say about laying my tiles on my wetroom shower tray and what adhesive to use....

Hello Bill, You don't mention anything about tanking your wetroom floor and walls. THE most important part of any wetroom design and construction... What are your plans in that regard?

Already tanked with 2 good coats of Lastogum. Have plenty left over too so am gonna put another coat on today.
