I didn't go on holiday for 11 years but last year (September) i went to Hisaronu in Turkey and it was absolutely fantastic..... And so cheap too! Went all inclusive (including alcoholic drinks) for 11 nights for £380, i took £800 to spend but it was more like having £3000 as the exchange rate was so good. Highly recommend Hisaronu as a town to anyone and am going again this september.

Never ever again will i not have a holiday at least once a year.

Lee i go up st abbs in scotland,( i go diving but the area is superb)loverly beaches and hotels/bars/eateries
Ive eaten possibly the greatest mussels in the world ( its all about the sauce) exquisite .

We haven't been to north devon, but if you're willing to go a bit further I can recommend Haven Riviera Sands in Hayle, near St Ives. Its on a massive sandy beach, lovely little site, loads to do in the area, and there's a great pub called the Bluff on the cliff top overlooking the sea! Cant wait to get back there in June

Unfortunately I've had to visit a small town called Calpe in Spain ( north of Alicante) for the last 25 years!
It's grown up considerably over those years and the Euro made it more expensive, but it's sunny and relaxing and a perfect place to retire.
That first cup of coffee is the best!

Have done a few trips to Riviera Maya (not Cancun) just loved it but every time I went it got a little bit more expensive as I wanted a bit more from the hotels,now just content to stay on my cabin cruiser for a few nights and a lot cheaper,but do miss Mexico.

I was looking last night at some weekend break type destinations and the options are a mad one in Ibiza or a relaxing one in Turkey by the looks of it.

Went Mexico, Rhodes and Cyprus last year. Went all out I hadn't been abroad on a holiday for a couple of years prior.

we've been away every weekend with the caravan since easter, but having a weekend or two at home for next month or so but we'll be going somewhere in UK with the 'van during kids summer hols.

just in UK Dan, thought about taking it down to my brother's place in France but just haven't got round to it yet, plus it'd mean getting the dogs passports (me too now I think about it), getting them vacc'ed for rabies etc so it'd probs be more trouble than what it's worth.
