Ive had the "Homebase call" about 3 times,the "police magazine call" about 5 times ,the" number 1 on google call" about 10 times.I havnt had the medical magazine one funny enough! Basically if they are trying to force sell you something over the phone,its something that no one wants and that doesn't work.

That one is a scam. They tried hitting me with that one just over a year ago. I told them where to go. Meant to be a Police magazine that was going to be distributed. They give you closed questions first so you have to say yes or no then send you out an invoice for £400 plus & when you ask them about it, they rearrange your call to make it sound like you made a verbal agreement over the phone & threaten you to pay. Some people are that gullible & pay it.....not mag even comes out!

This girl never asked if I wanted it or not, just said that her artwork team would draw up an advert for me and ring me within the hour to confirm the design and arrange payment. At that point the phonecall was ended. :lol:

There is a growing trend of cold callers ringing from mobile numbers. Mobile number rings your phone, local accent asking if this is Peter the tiler and lure you into thinking it's a job to make you answer. :lol:
